Search for TEREA in Dubai and you will find the same name, Amber, say, or Sun Pearl, at several different prices. That is not a pricing mistake and it is not a sign of fakes. It is how TEREA reaches the UAE: cartons are produced for specific national markets, and each market has its own cost when it arrives here. This guide explains what a market edition is, what changes between markets, and how we lay the ladder out so you can choose.
What a market edition is
TEREA is manufactured for particular countries. A carton produced for Japan carries Japanese pack text and the Japanese warning panel; one produced for Italy carries Italian; Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan carry Kazakh or Uzbek alongside Russian; Switzerland carries German, French and Italian; Indonesia carries Bahasa Indonesia. The stick inside is built for the same ILUMA system in every case. When we say “TEREA Amber Italy” we mean an Amber carton produced for the Italian market, sealed, with that market’s packaging.
What actually changes between markets
Three things. The range of names: the Japanese Regular line exists only in the Japanese range, the Edition and Dimensions cartons only in the Indonesian one, and names like Amber and Silver appear in several markets but not all. The pack: language, warning panel, and small design differences. And the price: what a carton costs us at source differs by market, and that difference is passed on as the carton price. We do not make claims about anything else being different, and we do not publish tasting descriptions; the name and the market are what we sell.
The ladder, read live
Rather than type figures that go stale, these are read from the shop as you load this page. Indonesia: 120 AED. Kazakhstan: 125 AED. Uzbekistan: from 125 AED. Switzerland: 160 AED. Japan: 210 AED. Italy: 200 to 230 AED, because the Italian range is split into two tiers. Every carton is ten packs of twenty sticks, so dividing any of those by 200 gives the per-stick cost; the price guide does that arithmetic for you.
How to use the ladder
If you know the name you want, open its page under TEREA by name: every market that produces it is listed there, cheapest first, so the saving from choosing a different market is visible before you order. If you are price-led, start from the Indonesian and Central Asian pages and see whether the name you want is there. If you want a name that only one market produces, such as the Japanese Regulars or the Indonesian Editions, the market page is the only route, and the price is what it is.
Two things people get wrong
First, that a dearer market is somehow a “better” version. We do not claim that, and we would rather you chose on price and pack language than on a story. Second, that a cheaper market means a broken carton. Every carton we sell is factory sealed at ten packs of twenty sticks, whichever market it came from, and we confirm each order on WhatsApp before dispatch. The market is printed on the pack; what you order is what arrives.
Questions about market editions
Is TEREA from Kazakhstan genuine?
It is a sealed TEREA carton produced for the Kazakhstan market, sold with its Kazakh and Russian pack text. We sell it as exactly that and confirm every order before dispatch.
Why is Italian TEREA the most expensive?
Because it costs the most at source. Italy is also the only market in our range with two price tiers; each Italian product page names its tier.
Will a Swiss TEREA fit my ILUMA i ONE?
Yes. Every TEREA carton fits every ILUMA model.
Can I mix markets in one order?
Yes. Cartons are sold individually, so one order can hold Kazakh Amber, Italian Teak and a Japanese Regular together. Orders over 299 AED ship free.
Where is the full list of markets?
On the TEREA page, which links to all six market pages and every name page.
