TEREA Switzerland

The Swiss range

Switzerland is the tightest range on the site: eight cartons, all of them names that also exist elsewhere. Amber, Bronze, Sienna, Silver, Teak and Yellow are the non-menthol core; Turquoise and Purple Wave are the two menthol-family names. There are no Pearls and no market-exclusive names on the Swiss page, which makes it the simplest place to buy a European carton of a name you already know. Pack text is in German, French and Italian, as Swiss packaging is, with the Swiss warning panel. Every carton on the page is the same price.

Swiss or Italian?

The two European markets overlap on most names, so the question comes up. Two differences matter. Price: the Swiss carton sits below the Italian one on every shared name, and the Italian range itself is split into two tiers. Range: Italy adds the Menthol Pearls (Oasis, Sun and Twilight Pearl Menthol) and labels its menthols as such, while Switzerland stays with the eight core names. If the name you want is on this page, the Swiss carton is the less expensive European way to buy it; if you want a Pearl from Europe, it has to be Italy.

Where Switzerland sits on price

160 AED places the Swiss carton in the middle of the ladder: above the Central Asian and Indonesian bands, below Japan and Italy. Every name here has a cheaper Central Asian or Indonesian version on its name page, and the Teak page is the one exception where the only alternative is Italian. Each carton is factory sealed and holds ten packs of twenty sticks, 200 sticks in total; the per-stick figure on this page is simply the carton price divided by 200.

Every carton on this page is a TEREA carton, which means it is made for the IQOS ILUMA family: ILUMA i ONE, ILUMA i, ILUMA i PRIME and the earlier ILUMA models. ILUMA heats the stick from the inside through an element built into each TEREA stick, so there is no blade to clean. TEREA does not fit the BONDS device, which takes BLENDS.
